Arnold Schwarzenegger has tweeted a photo of himself from the film set of Expendables 2 with co-stars Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis.
The Terminator star, who took a break from acting to devote his time to being Governor of California, last had a major film role in 2003's Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines, although he had a cameo in the first Expendables film.
Arnie tweeted: "Back in action for The Expendables 2! I'm having a fantastic time on set with Bruce and Sly in Bulgaria."
Sylvester - who directed the first action movie, in which he co-starred with Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke and Jet Li - has revealed action hero Jean Claude Van Damme is also on board for the sequel.
Sly has handed over directing duties to Simon West, who previously directed Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Con Air.
Former Neighbours star Liam Hemsworth is the latest addition to the cast, along with Chuck Norris, while John Travolta and Nicolas Cage are also rumoured to be making an appearance.
Young Australian actor Liam - who is currently filming action thriller The Hunger Games - is the "new blood" to help out the Expendables.
Sly said: "We also need some new blood in there, a Navy Seal-type, because with the Expendables none of them have 20-20 vision anymore. They need some help, man."
